Lethal Bizzle, or Lethal B is coming to the 02 later this year. The MOBO award winning Ghanaian Brit is arguably one of the most prolific MCs on the UK grime scene, since coming onto the scene with the East London collective known as The More Fire Crew and their hit ‘Oi!’ which reached the top ten in the UK singles chart in 2002.

He had his first solo breakthrough hit in 2004 ‘Pow (Forward)’ otherwise known as ‘Forward Riddim’. A single originally banned from some mainstream radio stations, despite entering at No. 11 in its first week on the chart and reaching No. 1 on the UK Dance Chart.

Known for his lyrics which often poke fun at modern gangsta rap and hip hop, his satirical humour has adopted the style and language of the genre, producing amazing sounds with tongue in cheek lyrics. Perhaps it is this style that won him a MOBO award for ‘Pow’ as Best Single, and got him nominated for Best Newcomer. Lethal Bizzle regularly performs on the UK festival circuit and has had two sold out headline tours of his own.

Lethal Bizzle has also made cameo appearances on the big screen, such as ‘Anuvahood’ and the BBC Three show ‘Bad Education’. In 2012, he started a t-shirt business ‘Stay Dench’ with the footballer Emmanuel Frimpong – his cousin. From there he founded Dench Records and has widely expanded his club nights – Dench Party.

He is one of the hardest working men in the music business, so expect a night of high energy grime mixed with a large dose of whimsical rap. This one’s for the party people.

Catch Lethal Bizzle promoting his latest album ‘You’ll Never Make a Million from Grime’ at the 02 Forum Kentish Town on Friday 20th October, doors open 7pm.
