On the eve of their 50th anniversary as a combined force in the world of jazz, we are delighted to welcome Art Ensemble Of Chicago back to our stage, 15 years after they last played here.

An avant-garde jazz ensemble that grew out of Chicago in the late 1960s, the AEC is notable for its integration of soulful and chaotic musical styles that span jazz’s entire history, helping to redefine what jazz music could be and continue to seek out its future.
