‘Behind The Mask’ – Cedarcube’s charity fundraiser

Domestic abuse is sucha a taboo subject that no one wants to discuss it in public or private.  However it’s present in all walks of life and socio-economic classes. Cedarcube’s charity fundraising event hopes to bring this issue to fore by unveiling the ‘mask’ surrounding it as well as raise much needed funds for its various activities.

The introduction by the charity’s founder Ihu Nweke, was followed by a heart felt speech by Councillor Horley about her experience of abuse and a plea for support for this amazing charity. Following this, we were treated to a sumptuous three course gourmet dinner.

Following our feast we were treated to  an exciting fashion show, auction, best dressed competition and a  prize draw. It was a truly awesome night as you can see from pictures below.
