Chronixx Comes To Town

If you are a lover of reggae and dancehall music, then the O2 Academy Brixton should be your next stop. On Sunday the 28th day of May 2017 one of the most celebrated dancehall and reggae band Chronixx and Zincference promise to light the stage with his breathtaking performance.

Chronixx is not just your regular reggae artist; he is also a music producer. His foray into music started early at the age of five. His musician father professionally known as “Chronicle” helped him cut his teeth in the world of music by providing him the exposure he needed to nurture his music career.

Amazingly, Chronixx wrote his first song when he was five years and started recording on a professional level at age 11. By the time he was fifteen, he had added music to his already glittering music resume. He broke into the world of reggae in the year 2012 when his songs began to enjoy significant airplay in Jamaica. This subsequently earned him performances at festivals and concerts across the country.

Furthermore, his album “Dread and Terrible” which was released in April 2014 immediately topped the Billboard Top Reggae Albums charts and also stood at number two position on the Digital Reggae Singles chart. Throughout his stellar career, Chronixx has won several awards including; Culture Artist of the Year, Entertainer of the Year, and Best New Artist at the Linkage Awards in New York for the year 2104.

His hit song “Smile Jamaica” won him Best Song while his music video for his song “Here Comes Trouble” won the Best Music Video at the 33rd International Reggae & World Music Awards.

The fashion world will see more of Chronixx as he was announced as the face of adidas Spezial. The SS17 collection of footwear and apparel by the sportswear giant was unveiled through a concentrated U.K and U.S. roll out that impacted mainstream press from Vogue, CNBC & GQ, respectively.
