MMCo Emporium’s Blue Dress Ball which takes place at the prestigious Institute of Directors (IOD), Pall Mall, will attract UK and international celebrities and business people, for a night of networking, socialising, comedy and good old fashion dancing.

The event will also raise funds for the SABA Charity Network, who promote cultural diversity growth and unity in communities via community focused projects and services.

Emma Adams, the event director of the autumn party, launched the ball last year after noticing a lack of prestigious annual events in London.

The managing director of the events company MMCo World said:

“Following the highly successful Red Dress Ball in 2017, the Blue Dress Ball continues the era of high quality entertainment, in a setting where business can be discussed. The Emporium is bigger and better than last year and is living up to its slogan “at the MMCo Emporium, anything can happen”.

“The annual event will attract peoples from London’s many cultures. Artists, sports personalities, bankers, entrepreneurs and politicians will mingle in a prestigious setting where they can network, enjoy an evening of high quality entertainment and contribute to worthwhile charities.”

The evening’s enjoyment, spread over nine rooms and three floors will include an eclectic mix of comedy and music from Eddie Nestor and Robbie Gee, a virtual reality zone, casino, salsa, the Brazilian Drum and Dance troupe Oi Brazil (pictured above) who will bring their Latin energy and flare to the Latin Rhythm Quarter where guests at this special event can try out their Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba moves.

Guests who are not feeling so sprightly can take in a show in the UK UNSIGNED room, which will be showcasing the best unsigned talent across the country in categories as diverse as Reggae, Gospel, Afro-Beats and RnB.

In the Ball room there will be performances by Lisa Punch and Jimmy Lindsay as well as the best in reggae, soul, soca etc from a roster of London’s finest DJs.

Comedian, Curtis Walker, will be launching his biography Still Here at the event. The entertainer who’s enjoyed over 30 years in the business believes the Blue Dress Ball is the ideal place for the launch.
