Have you ever wondered what it’s like to serve on a jury? Now is your chance in a new riveting court room drama at the Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith. In their latest production of Ferdinand von Schirach’s thrillingplay Terror, director Sean Holmes leads you hear the evidence, make your judgment and decide the fate of the accused.

 

The story revolves around a packed football stadium. Ignoring orders to the contrary a fighter pilot shoots down a plane killing 164 people to save 70,000.

 

Put on trial and charged with murder, the fate of the pilot is in the audience’s hands. Would you have done the same in his position? On what basis do we make life changing decisions?

 

Come and be part of this global phenomenon that has been stirring debate and dividing opinions irrespective of  nation or cultures.

 

Tanya Moodie plays the presiding judge and has many theatrical roles to her name including Hamlet (RSC); Joanne (Soho Theatre); King John (Shakespeare’s Globe). Her film and television credits include: Legacy, Rabbit Fever, The Tulse, Luper Suitcases, The Final Passage, Skins, Sherlock, Lewis, The Body Farm, Holby City, The Street to name but a few.

 

Ashley Zhangazha plays the pilot Lars Koch. His theatre credits include: The Lottery of Love (Orange Tree); Human Animals; Belong; Truth and Reconciliation (Royal Court); A Raisin in the Sun (Sheffield Crucible/Eclipse). Film and television credits include: Victoria, Doctors,Humans and Ordinary Lies.
