Ebonyonline.net

Afrocentric Theatre, Music, Culture and Business

Ebonyonline.net is the brainchild of Adetayo Idowu, owner of leading black led marketing agency ELC Associates. Tayo has a burning passion for the arts in particular black theatre and shared his passion with many friends, who frequently came to asking for what was the latest play showing. From this in 2009 the idea for Ebonyonline.net was born. The initial site was very successful and had a loyal and dedicated readership. It also incorporated a business directory which allowed businesses to connect with London’s African Caribbean consumers.

Fast forward to 2017. Ebonyonline.net is undergoing a much needed makeover. It will be the most comprehensive listings of theatre, music, culture, arts, films, business events and news of interest to London’s growing African Caribbean community. In addition to the website, we will be launching a print magazine called Breeze.

Breeze will offer an unrivalled opportunity for advertisers to reach the vibrant and increasingly commercially important local African Caribbean consumer via our website (www.ebonyonlline.net) and free entertainment and classifed ad magazine for ONE price across all platforms. An app version is in development.

Breeze will be only magazine of its kind that uniquely targets South London’s African Caribbean consumer. We plan to roll out the magazine to other parts of London in the coming months.

5,000 copies of the bimonthly magazine will be distrbuted to over 200 outlets across South London including salons, take aways, churches, barbers, clubs, nurseries, restaurants etc

Breeze will be a mix of celebrity news, music, entertainment, lifestyle features, arts, culture, community events plus incisive views and opinions from top class writers and bloggers.
