The multiple-Grammy award-winning hip-hop superstar Kendrick Lamar has yet another musical night of fun and entertainment up his sleeves as he embarks on the European leg of the DAMN tour.

 

This tour comes right after the release of Kendrick’s fourth album DAMN which garnered him a whopping amount of online streams.

 

This amazing album is the talk of the internet and takes him further in that Prince-like direction, showing that he’s a constantly evolving artist.

 

Kendrick Lamar was born in Compton, California, in 1987. His parents had moved to Compton from Chicago to escape the city’s gang culture, although Lamar’s father had been associated with the notorious Gangster Disciples gang.

 

He came to attention through his highly popular street mix tapes such as Youngest Head Nigga in Charge, which drew a lot of attention in his native south California and beyond.

 

His popularity grew and grew such that by 2010 he was collaborating and touring with the likes of as Young Jeezy, The Game, Talib Kweli, Busta Rhymes and Lil Wayne.

 

He eventually came to the attention of super producer Dr Dre who took him under his wing and became his mentor, musically and in business eventually signing him to his Aftermath Entertainment record label.

 

His 2015 Grammy-winning album To Pimp a Butterfly is still receiving critical acclaim to date.

 

Expect to hear tracks like DNA, Love, Duckworth and the song that’s making huge waves Humble. It promises to be an incredible show that true lovers of hip hop certainly won’t want to miss! Get your tickets fast before this show sells out as it definitely will.
